Save the moment?
Thank God it happens extremely rarely, but what happens when everything starts to “go wrong”?
Fortunately, it has happened to me 1 or 2 times so far and I have escaped the "heart attack" but what do we do when everything suddenly starts to not work and not all at once. When you go to a photo shoot with the best intentions and with your mind full of creative ideas, suddenly with the first "click" the flashes start to not synchronize. The camera starts to hang and freeze, your memory card gives an error! The first thing you wish is for the earth to open up and make you disappear, or to call a priest to bless you. But we forget something important: the client?
You've started to doubt yourself and your abilities and you're breaking out in a cold sweat while you're by the sea and a cool breeze is blowing.
Deep breath, calm, no need to transfer my panic to the client. After all, we are here to find quick solutions to problems and not to make them bigger. When I started as a photographer, I didn't have a modern and expensive camera or the latest lighting and flashes if I have at all. It's all in the mind, and so is the art of photography. (always care a second camera body, just in case!!)
“Love is in the air, but don’t worry, our cameras have a great sense of direction.”
