One foot at the time?

“Sometimes the work of the photographer makes me wonder if the way we work and capture reality with our mind’s eyes is for the benefit of the client or simply to feed our ego? “

And to be more specific, the way I see some things does not necessarily have to be similar or have nothing to do with the way another colleague sees things.

The truth is that trying to record reality with the image I have in my mind is often day and night and the whole process is purely internal and spiritual.

As in all artistic expressions it is often a painstaking process. Sometimes you get it effortlessly, other times you have to try and train yourself until you succeed or even come close to the image you have in your mind.

But I can admit that the whole process is interesting and, in the end, although I grumble, enjoyable regardless of whether the result is exactly what I would like. It is what makes me put one foot in front of the other to go further, to the next challenge.
